Chad Sawyer

Chad Sawyer was born and raised in La Plata, Missouri. He and his wife, Katy, have two daughters, Delaney, 20, and Emery, 16. Sawyer attended Indian Hills Community College and Buena Vista University and has a B.S in Political Science.

“Often times if you show up, shut up, and listen, things aren’t always tough,” said Sawyer of his most valuable lesson learned in college.

One of his passions is helping increase social services and resources for families in rural areas. Sawyer says the secret to living a joyful and fulfilling life is having close friends and family.  When he’s not working, Sawyer enjoys standing in icy water chasing ducks.
