Quality Improvement and Compliance Coordinator-
Position Description:
The Quality Improvement and Compliance Coordinator will have primary responsibility for directing and managing quality improvement initiatives of NMHC, ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting improved health care outcomes. Selected candidate will support activities related to NMHC’s Quality Improvement plan in accordance with our mission and strategic goals, federal/state laws and regulations, Meaningful Use, and Patient Centered Medical Home strategies.
Other duties include: maintaining current knowledge of applicable federal and state privacy laws, ensure compliance with privacy practices, guarantee required ongoing HIPAA training is completed by all members within the organization. Also responsible for developing, maintaining, and updating policies and procedures related to HIPAA Privacy and Security, as well as oversee all ongoing activities related to the development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s privacy policies in accordance with state and federal laws. Must also be able to develop and implement systems, policies, and procedures for the identification, collection, and analysis of performance measurement data. Must be able to collect, summarize, and report operational and clinical performance data. With that data, must identify opportunities for improvement, and present findings to applicable committees.
The qualified applicant must have a bachelor's degree in a related field of study, along with the ability to work with a diverse group of people, including providers, support staff, patients, and administration. Candidate must possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and be able to organize data information into spreadsheets, charts, graphs, etc.

IT Support Technician
Position Description:
The qualified candidate must be able to identify, diagnose and resolve problems for users of mainframe, personal computer and hardware, District network, the Internet and new computer technology. Must be able to diagnose and resolve end-user network or local printer problems, PC hardware problems and mainframe, e-mail, Internet and local-area network access problems. Additionally, must be able to perform minor desktop hardware repair for PC computer equipment and peripherals and help install local area network cabling systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with active directory, domain controllers, network file shares, disk to disk backup, VMWare View, NextGen EHR/EPM, QSI, Rosetta interfaces, print servers, LAN/WAN configuration, TCP/IPV4-V6, switches, routers, firewalls and network/system troubleshooting.
The qualified candidate must be able to effectively communicate with individuals, as well as be able to multi-task to resolve multiple areas of concern as needed by client base. Candidate must possess the ability to work with a diverse group of people, including providers, support staff and administration. An associate’s degree in IT or related field, or the equivalent work experience is preferred.

BILLING/INSURANCE SPECIALIST
Position Description:
The qualified candidate will be able to successfully research charge encounters for accuracy and will be required to post charges and payments received on accounts. Candidate will also research and refile insurance encounters, establish payment plans, and answer incoming calls regarding patient and clinic billing questions. Additional daily skills required, include but are not limited to: data entry, running reports, use of email, spreadsheets, and copier/fax machines. There are monthly deadlines required for certain tasks within this position. Excellent customer service and patient privacy, as outlined in HIPAA regulations, is a MUST. Prior insurance filing/billing experience preferred; however, we will train the right candidate. High school diploma or equivalent required.
