Northeast Missouri's Health Council's May updates

The safety of our employees and patients is always of utmost importance, and we pride ourselves in emphasizing health and wellness at all times. As always, we want to assure patients that we will continue in our commitment to provide a safe place for all.

We will continue to offer the use of Virtual Visits where possible, but we also recognize that Virtual Visits are not the best option for all patients. For this reason, we will be scheduling appointments with those who would benefit more from an in-person encounter.

We remain diligent in keeping our practices clean, and we follow strict guidelines regarding sterilization of instruments and patient areas. Hand sanitizer will be available in all patient areas and common areas will be cleaned throughout the day. You may also notice redesigned waiting areas to allow for proper social distancing.

We will continue to screen patients upon entry to the clinics by taking temperatures and checking symptoms, as well as for contact with COVID-19 positive patients. We encourage patients to wear a cloth face covering, per the CDC's recommendation, and wear it throughout the duration of their visit. For those who do not have a mask, one will be provided. For the safety of our patients and employees, visitors are limited to one or none, and we ask that they also wear a cloth face covering throughout the appointment.

We understand this is a complicated time for many, and we respect everyone’s decision to stay in or go out. Please let us know if there is any way we can assist you in your health in the coming weeks.

Stay healthy, Northeast Missouri!
