Dental Assistant - Kirksville

Position Description:

The qualified candidate will be able to assist with patient procedures, prepare/clean operatory, clean/sterilize instruments, assist with radiographs and help with additional office functions as needed to maintain smooth patient flow.  The ideal candidate will enjoy patient interaction and have excellent communication skills, as well as be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and be computer literate.  High school diploma or equivalent required.  Prior dental assistant experience preferred, however we will train the right candidate.

Community Health Worker - LPN or RN

Position Description:

The qualified applicant should have successfully completed a Community Health Worker formal training program or be willing to obtain certification. The applicant should possess the ability to work effectively with all people, maintain and build relationships with both patients and community resources, have a general understanding of the community served and a willingness and ability to provide emotional support, encouragement, and motivation to patients. Experience with electronic medical records preferred but will train the right candidate. Patient privacy, as outlined in HIPAA regulations, is a MUST. Successful completion of a Community Health Worker formal training program, such as from a college or other educational institution is required and may be completed on the job.

Medical Assistant (MA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)-Macon Family Health

The MA, LPN or RN will work in a high volume clinic where a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and support will be discovered. The ideal candidate will enjoy patient interaction and have proficient communication skills, as well as be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.  Must take pride in patient care by offering support in areas such as: computer skills, team player, and excellent patient/customer service.  The MA, LPN or RN will be equipped to deliver high quality care by assisting patients in and out of exam rooms, taking vital signs, coordinate patient meds, prescriptions, labs, blood draws, injections, specimen collection, patient notifications and other clinic functions as needed to maintain a smooth office flow.
