Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Position Description:

Northeast Missouri Health Council has a clear focus for bringing behavioral healthcare services to local communities in our primary care setting. If you are passionate about making a difference and wish to experience professional growth in a rewarding career, consider joining us at Northeast Missouri Health Council.

 

The LCSW will provide a continuum of mental health treatments by screening, assisting, and diagnosing at-risk patients. Candidate must be able to provide crisis intervention (including risk assessments and counseling) to emotionally disturbed patients. Must utilize resources to address social and emotional factors related to the patient’s health care problems, as well as provide counseling and behavioral/mental health treatment services to all patients. Must ensure individualized treatment plans are completed in a timely manner. Position requires consulting other human/social services for purposes of referral, if necessary. Qualified candidates must hold a Master of Social Work degree.

 

Candidate must enjoy the opportunity to work alongside physicians and other healthcare professionals. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including preparation of narrative reports required.

Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

Position Description:

The preferred candidate to join our team will provide a continuum of mental health treatments by screening, assisting, and diagnosing at-risk patients. The candidate must have a license to practice in the state of Missouri, a Masters Degree in counseling or psychology as recognized by the US Department of Education for LPC level. 

Dental Assistant - Kirksville

Position Description:

The qualified candidate will be able to assist with patient procedures, prepare/clean operatory, clean/sterilize instruments, assist with radiographs and help with additional office functions as needed to maintain smooth patient flow.  The ideal candidate will enjoy patient interaction and have excellent communication skills, as well as be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and be computer literate. Prior dental assistant experience preferred, however we will train the right candidate.

Registered Dental Hygienist - Macon

Position Description:

The Registered Dental Hygienist will work in a high-volume clinic where they will discover a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and support. The ideal candidate will enjoy patient interaction and have proficient communication skills, as well as be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. The qualified candidate will clean teeth and examine patient oral areas, as well as the head and neck for signs of oral diseases. Additional responsibilities include educating patients on oral hygiene, recording and reviewing patient medical histories, taking and developing x-rays, applying fluoride or sealants, maintaining dental equipment and sterilizing dental instruments. Computer expertise for the use of electronic medical records is required.

Patient Services Associate - Kirksville

Position Description:

The qualified candidate will be able to answer phones, schedule appointments, accept payment on patient accounts and help with additional office functions as needed to maintain smooth patient flow.  The ideal candidate will enjoy patient interaction and have excellent communication skills, as well as be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and be computer literate.  Experience working with electronic medical/dental records is a huge plus. Selected individual must be able to provide exceptional customer service to each and every patient. Prior Medical/Dental Office Experience preferred, but not required
