LPN or RN - Memphis

Position Description:

The LPN or RN will work in a high volume clinic where the nurse will discover a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and support. The ideal candidate will enjoy patient interaction and have proficient communication skills, as well as be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.  Must take pride in patient care by offering support in areas such as: computer skills, team player, and excellent patient/customer service.  The LPN or RN will be equipped to deliver high quality care by assisting patients in and out of exam rooms, taking vital signs, coordinate patient meds, prescriptions, labs, blood draws, injections, specimen collection, patient notifications and other clinic functions as needed to maintain a smooth office flow.  NMHC will consider new nursing graduates.

Patient Services Associate - Macon

Position Description:

The qualified candidate will be able to answer phones, schedule appointments, accept payment on patient accounts and help with additional office functions as needed to maintain smooth patient flow.  The ideal candidate will enjoy patient interaction and have excellent communication skills, as well as be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and be computer literate. The candidate in this position spends a great deal of time on the phone with insurance companies determining eligibility and assisting patients with insurance applications. Experience working with electronic medical/dental records is a huge plus. Selected individual must be able to provide exceptional customer service to each and every patient. Prior Medical/Dental Office Experience and/or Insurance Experience preferred, but not required.

Diabetes Nurse Educator: RN - Kirksville

Position Description:

We are seeking a RN-Nurse Educator to join the team! The qualified candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced organization, enjoy patient interaction, and possess a caring attitude. Candidate will be required to assist in care planning processes, and promote disease education and self-management for high-risk, chronically ill patients. Candidate will participate in patient’s initial treatment plans, and healthcare goal development, facilitate team conferences to review treatment goals and discuss utilization of resources, and implement care plans with patients. Candidate will also monitor health information technology (HIT) tools and reports for treatment. Candidate must provide excellent customer service and patient care at all times. Must have good computer skills, electronic medical record (EMR) experience preferred.

Qualifications include candidate to preferably have a minimum of two years’ experience in a healthcare setting, but not required. Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) certification is a plus, but can also be willing to obtain certification within the first 2 years of employment. Candidate must have a current Registered Nurse licensure (RN) in the state of Missouri.

OB/GYN Physician

Position Description:

We are seeking an OB/GYN Physician to join our collaborative team!
If you prefer work-life balance, the potential for loan repayment and have a desire to make a difference, then we’re the organization for YOU! The preferred candidate to join our team is a physician that will provide high quality health care to women and has a desire to care for and treat the underserved. Services provided by our OB/GYN Physicians include the full range of obstetrics and gynecology specialty services, including outpatient visits and procedures, inpatient deliveries and surgeries as well as the opportunity to teach health professionals, students and residents. Our OB/GYN clinic is housed in the same location as our Pediatric and Dental clinics and in close contact with our Behavioral Health Providers to allow patient centered, coordinated care.

General Dentist

Position Description:

We are looking to add a Dentist to join our team that enjoys working with children and has a desire to care for and treat the underserved, including working on our Mobile Dental Unit. Services provided by our dentists include general dentistry, emergency needs, dentures, restorative work such as crowns, bridges, partials and periodontal services (gum treatment), hygiene and tissue management and sealants.
