Northeast Missouri Health Council patients include those with insurance, those without insurance, and those with not enough insurance. We accept private insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare.  We are committed to providing comprehensive, high quality, affordable, and personalized care to all-regardless of income.  


We can assist in either filing claims for you or help with the completion of claims when needed.

Methods of Payment Accepted:

  • Cash

  • Credit Card, Debit Card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover)

  • Personal checks for the date of service – post dated checks are not accepted

  • We do not have the option for automatic recurring, monthly payments

Discounted Services


Northeast Missouri Health Council offers a sliding fee scale to qualified patients who meet income guidelines.  To see if you qualify, please complete the application and bring it to your appointment, along with proof of income and your last tax return.  The sliding fee application will help determine cost for services based on household size and income.

Northeast Missouri Health Council also accepts patients enrolled in the Missouri Medicaid program (MO HealthNet)

MO HealthNet for Kids


The Department of Social Services provides many services for Missouri children through the MO HealthNet for Kids Program, the state’s Medicaid program for children. Through MO HealthNet, children receive full, comprehensive coverage including primary, acute and preventive care, hospital care, dental and vision care, as well as prescription coverage.

MO HealthNet for Pregnant Women and Newborns


The MO HealthNet program for pregnant women and newborns provides healthcare and dental coverage, including sixty-day postpartum coverage, for pregnant women whose family income does not exceed 185% of the federal poverty level for their household size. Once eligible, the coverage continues through the postpartum period despite subsequent increases in income.  


Children born to a woman eligible for and receiving MO HealthNet for Pregnant Women or other MO HealthNet health care coverage on the date of the infant’s birth continue to be eligible for MO HealthNet coverage throughout the first year of life as long as the child remains in the mother’s home and maintains Missouri residence.
