Women's Health Nurse Practitioner

Angie Shuey is a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner at Northeast Missouri Health Council’s OB/GYN Specialty Group. A Northeast Missouri native, Angie is proud to serve the community she calls home and provide high-quality, affordable healthcare to women and families throughout the region.

Angie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Truman State University in 1997 and her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Women’s Health from the University of Missouri–Kansas City in 2011. She began her nursing career in Labor and Delivery in 1999, where she cared for women and families for more than two decades. In 2011, she joined NMHC as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, providing care for women throughout all stages of life. Women’s health is a true passion for Angie, and she values the opportunity to build lasting relationships with her patients.

Angie appreciates NMHC’s team-based approach to healthcare and the opportunity to care for families throughout the lifespan. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, accessible care while helping patients feel informed, supported, and confident in their healthcare decisions.

Outside of work, Angie enjoys spending time with her husband, Rick, of 35 years, their five children, and four grandchildren. She also enjoys reading, photography, and finding time to relax and make memories with her family.
