Carrie is one of our Registered Dietitian Nutritionists and the Clinical Director of Envision Wellness. Carrie's passion for food and nutrition began as a young girl during her involvement with 4-H and it continued to evolve as a young active adult. Carrie's family keeps me very active and a few of my hobbies include gardening, caring for my house ‘plant-babies’, trying new easy recipes, hiking, and the new hobby of Pilates. Now in her 40s, with independent adolescent and young adult children, I have a renewed focus on my personal health which is not easy to do with all of life’s demands. Carrie knows how difficult it can be to strike a balance between health, work, family, and your social life.  

  

Carrie has practiced as a registered dietitian since 2006. She strives to provide the best care for her patients, so she became a certified diabetes care and education specialist in 2019 and a certified specialist in obesity and weight management in 2025. Carrie's nutrition counseling practice focuses on adult weight loss, diabetes and cardiovascular disease prevention and treatment, and non-alcohol fatty liver disease. She has a strong interest in working with women who are peri- or post-menopausal.  Carrie uses a variety of nutritional education and counseling techniques to provide personalized care. Carrie serves patients at our Kirksville location and is also able to provide telehealth visits to those living in Missouri.
