Registered Dietitian

Carrie is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Clinical Director of Envision Wellness, serving patients at the Kirksville location and through telehealth visits for patients throughout Missouri. She is passionate about helping individuals build realistic, sustainable nutrition habits while finding balance between their health, work, family, and everyday life.

Carrie has practiced as a registered dietitian since 2006. Her passion for food and nutrition began at a young age through her involvement in 4-H and continued to grow throughout her life. She became a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist in 2019 and a Certified Specialist in Obesity and Weight Management in 2025. Her nutrition counseling focuses on adult weight management, diabetes and cardiovascular disease prevention and treatment, and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. She also has a strong interest in supporting women through the peri- and post-menopausal stages of life.

Carrie uses a variety of nutrition education and counseling techniques to provide personalized care tailored to each patient's needs and goals. Drawing from her own experiences balancing health, family, work, and other demands of life, she understands that healthy living does not always look the same for everyone. She strives to help patients make practical changes that can become part of their everyday lives.

 

Outside of work, Carrie enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, caring for her houseplants, trying new and easy recipes, hiking, and practicing Pilates.
