LeAnn Dent, LPC

LeAnn Dent is a Licensed Professional Counselor serving patients in Northeast Missouri. She is passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care and helping individuals navigate challenging and unexpected circumstances with support and understanding.

LeAnn grew up in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, where she met her husband, Reed, on their first day of high school in 1998. They both attended Truman State University for their undergraduate degrees. She went on to earn her Master’s in Professional Counseling and Human Development from Lindsey Wilson College and her Doctorate in Counseling and Psychological Studies from Regent University.

LeAnn discovered her passion for counseling in 2008 while working with clients experiencing unexpected pregnancies. Since then, she has developed specialized training in trauma treatment and has had the privilege of providing compassionate, evidence-based care to Veterans since 2022.

​

 

LeAnn is dedicated to creating a supportive environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their counseling journey. She values working alongside a caring team and is committed to helping those she serves build healthier, more fulfilling lives.

​

 

Outside of work, LeAnn enjoys spending time with her husband and their three sons, Briggs, Jack, and Graham. As a family, they enjoy hiking, camping, skiing, visiting National Parks, and relaxing at the lake. LeAnn also enjoys baking, running, and reading poetry.
