Kaleen Long, MD
Pediatrics

Dr. Kaleen Long is a pediatrician at Northeast Pediatrics in Kirksville, Missouri. She is passionate about providing compassionate, comprehensive care to children and families and is committed to advocating for the health and well-being of her patients.

 

Dr. Long earned her Bachelor of Arts in English and Italian from Yale University before earning her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where she also completed her Pediatric Residency. Before joining Northeast Missouri Health Council, she practiced general pediatrics in Springfield, Missouri.

 

Dr. Long has a strong passion for patient advocacy and has served on several community organizations, including the City of Springfield Mayor’s Commission for Children, Family Connects Community Advisory Board, and Stronger Together Springfield Board. She values opportunities to support children and families both inside and outside the clinic.

 

Outside of medicine, Dr. Long enjoys spending time with her family and pursuing her interest in vintage and locally crafted goods. In 2022, she and her sister opened JL Long Traders, a home goods store in Springfield, Missouri, offering small-batch vintage, locally sourced, and locally crafted products. The store is located in the historic building where their great-great-grandfather, JL Long, operated a furniture store beginning in 1903.
