Timothy Herbst, DDS
Dental Director

Dr. Tim Herbst is a Dentist at Northeast Dental and serves as the Dental Director of Northeast Missouri Health Council. He has been providing dental care to patients in Kirksville and the surrounding communities since 2003 and is proud to serve the region he has called home for more than two decades.

Dr. Herbst earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Baker University in 1996, where he played both football and baseball. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Dentistry in 2001. After graduation, he worked as an associate Dentist near his hometown of Peculiar, Missouri, before moving to Kirksville in April 2003.

As Dental Director, Dr. Herbst values the collaborative, team-oriented environment at NMHC. His favorite part of working with the organization is seeing staff work together to provide quality patient care and an excellent experience for every patient. He is committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive dental care while helping patients maintain lifelong oral health.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Herbst enjoys spending time with his family and friends, as well as coaching and watching his children participate in sports. He is married to Registered Dental Hygienist Kellie Herbst, and together they have three children, Jersey, Payton, and Brett.
